The degree is awarded by a British university.

The degree is awarded by the University of Wolverhampton, a British university with origins in 1827. It is recognised in UK law as a degree-awarding institution (a Recognised Body), and is registered with the Office for Students (OfS), the regulator of higher education. Its degree-awarding status can be verified by anyone on GOV.UK, the UK government's official website.

In Stage 1, you complete the EduQual Diploma in Business Management (SCQF Level 11), a qualification positioned within the UK's public qualifications frameworks. In Stage 2, you progress to the International MBA Top-Up, delivered and assessed directly by the University. The degree conferred on completion is the International Master of Business Administration.

And, should you wish, to the annual graduation ceremony on the university's campus in Britain — wearing the gown, alongside graduates from around the world, you can meet that moment. You may also choose to receive your certificate by post.

Graduation — in Britain, should you wish.

Two stages, to the degree.

The programme is built in two stages.

Stage 1 — EduQual Diploma in Business Management (SCQF Level 11)
Strategy, finance, leadership, marketing, organisational resources — the five domains of management, studied by self-study with online learning materials. The standard duration is around six months (up to nine, depending on your pace). Every student has a dedicated tutor. Depending on your professional experience and existing qualifications, exemption for prior learning (RPL) may be granted, shortening the duration further.

Stage 2 — University of Wolverhampton International MBA Top-Up
With a dedicated supervisor at the university, you take on a 15,000-word dissertation on a management theme of your own choosing. The duration is around four to six months, with intakes three times a year — January, May and September. On completion, the degree is conferred.

Everything, within fifteen months. A design for completion — while working.

An MBA with no timetable.

There is no fixed day of the week, and no fixed lecture hour. Stage 1 is self-study, with online learning materials. Early in the morning, late at night, in the gaps between journeys — you progress in your own time, at your own pace.

You never know when the urgent call will come. Meetings move. Business trips collide. This way of learning is designed for the business owners and senior managers who live that kind of day. Not stopping your reality for the sake of learning — but building learning into the middle of your reality.

Then can you keep going, alone? — We designed for that doubt itself.

Learning at your own pace also means holding yourself to the course. That is why, on this programme, every student has a dedicated tutor. The channel is email: the moment a question arises, you write and send it, and you can discuss your progress. Instead of going to a classroom at a set hour, you have someone alongside you whom you can write to at any time — that is how this programme is learned.

This is not a programme you study alone.

The curriculum is delivered entirely in English. The materials, the assignments, the dissertation. To think, and to write it through, in the same language as the world — beyond that challenge lies this degree.

On that foundation, Shibuya Web3 University builds the base of your learning, in Japanese. The Harvard conventions of referencing. The habit of reading academic papers through public databases such as Google Scholar. The craft of academic writing to a world standard. And, with Stage 2 in view, preparation in the conventions of research. The academic disciplines that Japanese business professionals have rarely had the chance to touch — practised until they become habit.

Our Japanese-language support never touches the content of your learning itself. And precisely because it does not, the value of your degree is protected.

The assignments and the dissertation are yours to complete, by your own strength. What we train is the foundation, and the habits, that let you see them through. This Japanese-language support is designed to be completed within Stage 1 — so that in Stage 2, you concentrate on your research, on the foundation you have built. That is why, when you complete, the ability remains with you — as the real thing.

Reading academic papers the way you read a newspaper. That habit remains with you, along with the degree.

And, as a master's course for the age of generative AI, we provide lectures — outside the curriculum — on putting generative AI to work in your learning. We position generative AI not as a substitute, but as a co-pilot for your thinking, one that accelerates the way you learn. Searching the literature, structuring information, studying English expression — that pre-processing can be handed to the AI, while you concentrate on what only a human can do: framing the question, thinking it into your own organisation, making the judgement. Time is compressed; thought, if anything, goes deeper. This is the philosophy of learning that Shibuya Web3 University — which has kept taking on the social implementation of technology — carries through every programme it runs.

None of this is for having AI write your assignments or your dissertation. You master the co-pilot — and the controls stay in your hands. It is because you write it through in your own words that the degree remains with you, as your own strength.

All in English — the same language as the world.

The materials, the assignments, the dissertation — and, in Stage 2, the research dialogue with your supervisor: the learning on this programme is conducted entirely in English. In the dissertation stage in particular, you refine your research through discussion in English with a university supervisor, and so we recommend entry for those with a certain level of English or above. We share the guideline level at the individual consultation.

In English, to a new depth of thinking.

Your English does not need to be perfect. What is needed is the will to see it through in English. You have been touching English in your daily business; now you take that English into the stage of thinking, writing and questioning — and the support for that challenge is built into this programme from the start.

This is not a programme that anyone can enter. Through the interview at the individual consultation, we welcome leaders who are actually taking action to change reality.

Know the university that awards your degree.

The University of Wolverhampton is a British university with origins in 1827. Around 19,000 students study there, across more than 380 courses. The university's story, the degree certificate, its place in the British university system, and the qualifications framework behind this programme — all of it, with the evidence.

Run in Japan by Shibuya Web3 University Co., Ltd.

Built on a community standing at the front line of technology's social implementation, we plan and run international education programmes. Who does what, and at which stage — the structure of this programme is disclosed in full.

First, from where you stand now.

The individual consultation begins with the reality you want to change. We talk, candidly, about whether the design of this programme engages with that challenge.

If you bring your CV, we will walk you through the application for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) — the process, and the documents required. The decision itself rests with the assessment on the UK side, and the formal outcome is confirmed after entry. The guideline level of English is also shared here. You can decide after that.

What we ask about in the interview is not the lines of your academic record, but the reality you want to change.
